So I guess if The Last Of Us Part 1 was at the Summer Game Fest, does that mean there won’t be another State of Play for a while? It seems like a very strange, one could almost say arrogant move by Sony. PS: I just realized that Silksong was gone! But I think my favorite was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge! It may be simple, but that game looks great and I would have killed for it as a kid. Witchfire looked good, kind of a mix of 2016’s Doom and Hexen, and I’m still sold on Marvel’s Midnight Suns. So what games did I like the look of? Well, I liked the sound of Flashback 2, but you couldn’t see it well. Most of these games would never even be mentioned in reality and the only big name announcements, worthy of E3, were Call Of Duty and The Last Of Us, neither of which interests me. After a while it gets really exhausting to the point where I wasn’t really paying attention, so I may have missed a few things.ĭespite what I said, I mostly enjoyed watching it, even though it looked like a discounted E3. Just like The Game Awards, there are actual commercials among all the trailers, which are technically commercials anyway. I don’t know why, maybe because this started at least at a reasonable hour, but I’ve seen all of the Summer Game Fest and … yeah, that was definitely a lot of capitalism.
